Buying a new build property can be daunting, especially when all you have are plans, designs and a vision of what your new home will look like.
We are here to ensure that you have all the facts and know everything about the property before you commit to the purchase. The Developer may want you to use their own solicitor, it is however your own choice. If you choose to instruct Courmacs, do so quickly, as once you have signed your Reservation Agreement the clock is ticking.
The legal works starts when the Developer’s Solicitor sends to us the legal pack. We will carefully review all of the documents and prepare a detailed report on your purchase. We will order your local authority search and advise you of the results, if you have a mortgage we will prepare a report. We will ask the Developer’s Solicitor’s questions to make sure that you can exchange. We appreciate that time is normally in short supply, so we will do everything in a timely fashion so that we meet your deadline.
There may be a long time between you exchange until your new home is built, and we will keep you informed and tell you exactly when Completion will take place.
